No, my name is not Lois!

I’m Teri Parker, leader of the women’s Sunday School class at Airway Baptist Church, where our aim is “Sharing God’s Love By Touching Lives.” But note that the title of this blog is both possessive and plural. While none of us are Lois by name, our intention is to be ‘Loises’, in honor of…:

“…the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.” (2 Timothy 1:5b, NKJV)

That’s the Apostle Paul writing to his protege Timothy, who had such an impact on the early Church in it’s formative years. Now, not all of us ladies are grandmothers; some of us aren’t even mothers at all. But all of us are in a position to make a positive impact on this world by stoking the faith of the next generations. Read on and see!
